Signing Up

Sign up for Summer Reading Club at any of the Santa Monica Public Library locations beginning Saturday, June 19, 2010.

When you sign up you will receive a Summer Reading reusable bag, bookmark, and a reading/activity log.

Saturday, June 19 to Saturday, August 28

Prize: Baby & Me Club

Complete all 16 of the activities listed on the activity log with your baby and receive the grand prize*: a board book for you and your baby to read together! (Sample below. Titles will vary.)

Prizes: Read-to-Me and Independent Readers Clubs

After you have read for 5 hours, bring your clock folder to the library where you signed up to claim your first prize*: a paper fan you can decorate any way you like!

After reading for an additional 5 hours, for a total of 10 hours, visit the library for your choice of a second prize*:

a plush sea turtle	a frog slap bracelet

Read for 5 more hours, for a total of 15 hours, and receive the grand prize*: a paperback book!

*Please Note: the Summer Reading prizes are available only while supplies last, or until Saturday, September 4th, whichever comes first.
